「花達が受け入れてもらえる季節は訪れないのかもしれない」。 悲しく、切実で、絶望的な文面だ。 私の大好きなブルーとイエロー、そして他の花々たちは、undertaleでは家父長制の権化ともいうべき男、アズゴアによって殺される。 deltaruneでは彼らはそのアズゴアの家に閉じ込められ、決してこちらを振り向いてはくれないまま保身に打ち込むアズゴアのために、花々は限られた人生を男に捧げようとする。自分の家庭しか知らない子供のように。 その構造は地獄のようだと思う。 とはいえ、最終的にアズゴアは心を入れ替え、「これからは自分の花達のために生きる」と言った。アズゴアはさらわれてしまったものの、花達のために私はその言葉に希望があると信じたい。でなければ、私はアズゴアの足の小指に何度でも植木鉢の角をぶつけるだろう。
