and thinking about John going back to Guy’s apartment with him later…and being like “hey man i’ll hang out with you here and help you tidy the place up” because it’s clear Guy is going through it and maybe he doesn’t need someone trying to therapy-speak him in to getting his shit together, maybe he doesn’t need a motivation pep talk, probably he just needs a friend to act like everything is normal and he’s not in a slump and he’s not alone living in a mess he hasn’t had the energy or motivation to do anything about

so John comes over, body doubles for Guy as Guy cleans out his fridge and puts the place back into array, they pause from time to time to ice and re-bandage each other’s scrapes and bruises, maybe there’s some kissing involved, and Guy feels a million times better now they his living space is more organized
