Some things they noted [copied and pasted from the link]:

We liked the concept of Blood Points, but not necessarily its execution.

We liked the constant struggle with the Beast that Hunger Dice provided, but we’ve noted that their mechanics promoted specific styles of play over others.

We liked the tiered Blood Bonds of older editions.

We liked how V5 expanded the powers within each Discipline.

The fact that Celerity, Fortitude, and Potence didn’t have powers in the pre-V5 editions could be improved.

- they want to expand and differentiate each of the clan's identities more and give more room for character expression

- they want to make the game more flexible for more varied styles of game

- they want to implement more risk and reward into the mechanics, or as they put it "winning by losing, and losing by winning"
