It’s good that fanfic is extremely self indulgent in nature but I will always find it way less awkward to read obviously id fueled Explicit fic that’s 100% sloppy boning with all signs of being written one handed than I do to read fic that’s just the author Agendaposting about what Should Have Happened or where everybody does an epic takedown of a character the author doesn’t like 😭 like okay… i respect your energy but i lowkey did not ask…

i lowkey have no standards for vampire chronicles media. i don't think the AMC show fell off bc the stuff coming out RN is honestly standard to exceptional in quality for VC media broadly. if you think anything Vampire Chronicles is going to be "good" by conventional metrics you're out of your god damn mind

Was Rose actually a lesbian fujoshi or was her book being “wizard slash” just a bit Dave was doing for no reason. I don’t really get lesbian fujoshi vibes from Rose but it would be kind of funny especially if because of her general lack of interest in men she’s only interested in shipping decrepit old guys. I was such a Classpects HATER when I was still reading Homestuck bc they’re so insanely arbitrary and vibes based it was pissing me off that fans treat them like a framework for legitimate analysis but now that I’m reading Beyond Canon and there’s like 10 new characters whose special cute personality quiz titles we don’t know I’m like wow this shit is so fun. Something I recently enjoyed that made it all “click” for me with something I’ve been struggling to get into was the Death Grips album Year of the Snitch. It’s old news bc it’s from 2018 but it’s so crazy good that I understand Death Grips now. I’ve been trying to understand them since before that record came out!!
