Master To-Do List in the back of my Hobonichi Weeks planner. I actually put two of these in my Weeks so that I can revisit this list half-way through the year and re-prioritize as needed.

Use all tools at your disposal. Get a bullet journal and make lists. Put down appointments in your phone and a physical planner. Set timers and reminders for things you need to get done. It takes practice, you do need to work on the habit, but it does help.

Write shit down immediately. Listen, you’re not going to remember it. You won’t magically recall that apartment, that birthday, or the thing you promised to bring to the party tomorrow. Write it down the moment you learn it in a place you will consistently check (again, shout-out to making lists and using a planner). This works so much better.

Use multiple alarms. I have an alarm to get up, leave for work, take my meds, and get ready for bed. I need those alarms, and I could probably use more. Sometimes I turn them off and forgot, but using them keeps me on track.

Be consistent! Wake up at the same time, try to go to sleep at the same time. Eat food and go to school or work at the same time. If you have time blindness, set up those alarms to remind you to do things.

Chunk your goals. As small as you can make them. If ‘do the dishes’ is haunting you, split it up in your list as taking the dishes out of the dishwasher, putting them away, filling the dishwasher with dirty dishes, clean the sink, etc. Whatever works to keep you on track.

A Guide to Audio Journaling

This past month (or longer, I think) I switched from regular, written journaling to audio journaling, and I thought it’d be great to share my experience: the practice, what I actually do, why I do it, and some things to think about if you wanna try it out.

I keep all my audio journals on the voice memos app on my phone, but if any of you know an alternate platform to do so, feel free to share!
