Reflection
When I first got the parrot feather as a gift in a Christmas card from my coworker (she had sourced it from her parrot, who had preened it from himself), I was very confused about what I could possibly do with it. Nonetheless, I tucked it away. It was over a year before I finally accumulated enough materials of a similar colour scheme to utilise the parrot feather. What triggered the realisation that I had enough matching materials was when I discovered that the beetle I placed in the top right had the same colours as the parrot feather. After that, it was only a matter of picking complimentary greens, browns, and yellows.
Bouquet paper is lovely as a material, because it's thin and designed to be aesthetically pleasing. I have the paper from every bouquet I've ever received for use in my journaling.
