Teasing Willow

A campaign involving her and Frozone officially begins on February 13th. According to the teaser, Jack Skellington(AKA, her beloved ‘Inventor of Holiday Spirit’) may be involved..! The quest is called “Night at the Scare Floor” and takes place on Valentine’s Day! I suspect we’ll be getting Mirrorverse!Jack X Sally content. <3 Here’s hoping we get some dialogue between them!

1. Frankenweenie (2012) 2. Corpse Bride (2005) 3. The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) 

The narrative of frankenweenie is supposed to take place during the 1950s. Notice that victor is a child. The narrative of corpse bride takes place about a century before that. The victor in this film is an adult. Although Tim and his themes exist blatantly in these, and more of his films, please stop trying to be pseudo intellectual and insist you’ve uncovered some hidden secret. Tim expresses a lot of his stifled childhood in his films, and these lanky dark haired protagonists with a canine companion are representative of that. THAT is the connection you’re looking for. You’re seeing Tim. You’re seeing his childhood dog. And not to come off as an elitist prick, although I’m going to anyway, if Tim intended for this to be an interwoven storyline, the details would sync up so much better with so much more consistency. Thank you.

The only thing these characters have in common are 1: two of them have the same name, and 2: they each have an undead dog. I’m not even gonna bring up the fact that they’re all lanky because that isn’t any sort of connection or similarity, that’s Tim Burton’s art style. The timeline is off, the characters personalities are very different from each other (I’m sorry, but if you think that our shy and meek Victor, who couldn’t even properly talk to women at the start of the film, would become the goddamn boisterous, impulsive, charming pumpkin king, then you’re outta ya goddamn mind.)
