I'm not sure if this makes sense but there's a special kind of pain that comes with liking something with barely any content while knowing new content would kind of ruin the ending we already have.
And yes, I'm specifically talking about What Remains of Edith Finch. As much as I deeply love this game and its' story, the entire game only lasted one to two hours. I often find myself wishing it didn't have to end so soon but the way the story ended was basically perfect in my opinion.
A lot of the questions left by the ending were best left unanswered and any kind of sequel or bonus content that would give us definitive answers to those questions seem unnecessary in my eyes.
So I suppose I can be content with making the thing I love to make for my favorite dead fandoms: AUs. Ones that I'll probably share here.
