Scary Teddy on Coffin Bobble Head Figure

Disneyland Limited Edition of 500

Available at the last Haunted Mansion Holiday event in 2004, this bobble head figure depicts Scary Teddy from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas sitting on top of the coffin from the Haunted Mansion’s conservatory. Green hands with red nails attempt to pry the lid open. Jack Skellington has left a coffin and bat shaped tag on the coffin reading “Do not open ‘til Christmas.”

Some purple flowers have been left on the coffin lid and a few petals are scattered about.

Piece is approximately 7″ long and 5″ tall. Certificate of Verification included with printed event logo.

Ceramic Christmas ornament featuring Madame Leota surrounded by characters from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, including Jack Skellington in his Sandy Claws suit; Sally; Zero; Lock, Shock, and Barrel; The Mayor of Halloweentown; Scary Teddy; the Toy Duck; and the Black Cat in a Box. The back features Scary Teddy. In both images of Scary Teddy he’s holding the bells he rings in the séance scene of Haunted Mansion Holiday.

Interesting note: The film is called The Nightmare Before Christmas. The movie promotional materials read Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, yet this and some other Haunted Mansion Holiday items omit the word “The”.

Ornament measures 3.5″ in diameter. Front images are molded in relief.

There's a trend on Tik-Tok/Insta of Sally edits with the caption "This is the first Halloween without Sally" or "Jack's first Halloween without Sally" and I'm beginning as judgemental as possible when I say this, WHERE WAS THIS ENERGY WHEN KEN PAGE PASSED AWAY 2 YEARS AGO???????

The logic that fictional characters 'pass away' along with their voice actors is such a weird sentiment to me...no one is even mentioning how Barrel is all alone now since Lock and Shock's VAs are deceased.

#they live on in the characters they voiced! we can hear ken and catherine william hickey glenn shadix ed ivory paul reubens etc etc #-every time we watch tnbc!#i think it's a beautiful thing but everyone is desperate to make it some sad 'rip character here' (probably for engagement tbh)#also this was quietly on my mind. i thought losing oogie boogie's va (one of the most MEMORABLE disney villains) would be huge #i literally dont know what's going on. mostly because i dont have tiktok lmao #it sounds insufferable though
