this is probably my favorite tiktok of all time and I finally got around to showing it to my dad the other day and now he comes home every day and tells me about all the places he saw crumbling concrete and says "guess they didn't add enough chinchilla flakes"
My dad has worked in construction is whole life, primarily with a company that does concrete foundations, and I immediately sent him this back when I first found it on TikTok, and he IMMEDIATELY shared it with everyone he worked with. They apparently still quote it on his job sites to this day.

Trying to find an old tumblr post I used to see a lot.
It started with someone listing "places with uncanny energy," like gas stations on a road trip, empty movie theaters, etc.
Then someone reblogged it and said those are called "liminal spaces," defining liminal as in-between, neither one thing nor another.
It was the first time I'd seen the term "liminal" applied to places like that, and it's driving me crazy, I want to find and put a date on it so bad.

EDIT: Okay, Xbox is not recommended. PC is not an option (no space, no finances) Switch 2 costs 560 euro. Guess I'll stop playing new console games.
This means I won't be able to get used games either. I mostly buy used games. Will we be able to buy and play games which were released 20 years ago? Playstation can decide any day to nuke (or censor) the games you have purchased and fuck you sideways while saying "thanks for the money". AND IT WILL. Nothing digital is forever. Only physical copies last. Current Playstation Store doesn't even sell the same games in all regions. For example, I am unable to obtain The Legend of Dragoon while Americans can get it with 5 dollars from their PS Store.

Remember, corporations speak in money. That's their only interest.
Tell them you will cancel your Playstation Plus subscription. Tell them you will not be purchasing their digital games or consoles, current or upcoming. Tell them you're ending your customer relationship after X years with them because of this new direction. Tell them you will buy a different console for your kids this Christmas.
