Yeah no I regularly think about Spite's whole "they don't want to hurt you. everyone else does"

Something something, of course Spite is obsessed with talking to Rook. Of course he smells Rook in the well. In the past however long it's been as far as Spite knows wanting to hurt him and Lucanis is the default position. Even if he can look into Lucanis's memories he's just going to see jobs and training and of course he sees Caterina and goes "oh that's different from this, but still, causing pain is normal. ok" but OBVIOUSLY he doesn't want to be in pain but there's no other option.

And then there's Rook and Rook doesn't want him or Lucanis hurt and not being hurt was an option??? It's not a common option either. He's GOT to latch onto Rook then. He might not have another chance for Lucanis and he to have someone who doesn't hurt!

I asked Jeff Berg to make a dating profile as Rook and it went as well as you thought it would go. 😂 🚫 Do not repost.

Here are all my entries from DATV Photo Week, gathered in one place. :D In retrospect, I could have spent more time photographing people and 'moments.' All week, I saw lots of Rooks and companions in the other submissions that crossed my dash, but for a lot of reasons I didn't really go in that direction. Pretty shots come and go, but people are always compelling. I wish I'd had more time and energy to capture some myself.
