he's wearing a knitted sweater underneath!!! and he has that like banter about knitting as dexterity training!!! as a knitter, it makes me so happy to see like the actual stitching he has done in his own clothing/armor. I've used a pattern and made something just like this!

slipping to the ever familiar Treviso market from the eluvian, easing through the early morning crowd to a familiar market stand.

an old lady practically overcome with the amount of yarn and unspun wool around her. it is haphazardly organized and almost spilling out of its shelves onto the cobbled ground of Treviso. When he allows her to notice him (after a pause of just relief at something not obliterated by the antaam, the blight, the world), her smile could light up the whole block.

they make easy conversation, discussing yarn weight, color ways, and needle size. She fusses over him in a way that is at once familiar and alarmingly stranger. lucanis, how did that new pattern with the purple wool turn out? she insists he needs to eat more, my poor lucanis, what have you been eating in the last year? air?

Lucanis ends up walking away with a beautiful stack of teal balls of yarn he doesnt much like the thought of purple anymore and a new pair of needles. he stops by a few fresh food and spice stalls before ambling back to the Lighthouse.
