i’m not saying him making the warden take the responsibility can’t be a bad thing, but if the roles could have somehow reversed i don’t think the warden would have had any more right to reject the responsibility and make him do it than he has to do that to you. the warden might feel that way which is interesting but i find it hard to really buy into from a player perspective. of course i guess there are a couple of origins who lend themselves to a less worldly character who maybe emphasises the experience gap a little bit more, like an amell/surana or maybe a tabris... and even though alistair is only 19 or 20, a warden can certainly be as young as him or even younger, that’s up to player choice. i guess i just find it a little jarring when people treat it as a universal fact that alistair had more experience and definitely had the responsibility to take the role. it really depends on the warden
