Man Made Horrors beyond my pay grade

decided to read the wikipedia page for energy drinks since ive been drinking a lot of them lately and its just paragraphs of "youre not gonna make it" over and over and over like the shining

look i WISH more horror movies were just the directors thinly disguised fetish. instead we got all these horror movies that are just undisguised reflections of culturally hegemonic values and anxieties. like if we got some weird fetishes up in here it would probably add some variety thats all im saying.

oftentimes the appeal of a character is that they are a loser who sucks and their soul and their essence is that of a greasy stoner and then you check the fanart and theyre being drawn like pop stars and its just not right. it just aint right

whenever i get an email in German i get one of those annoying notes 'looks like this is in German' from Gmail. thanks man. i would never have noticed otherwise. no i don't need you translate it, just like i didn't need you to translate the last fifty of them. leave me in peace........

tangentially i ran into a German woman on a bus and was chatting with her and she did the dramatic pause and hit me with the 'you sound Austrian' like this was news she was breaking to me. however. ive been told this by every german ive exchanged three words with in the past 10 years.

my friend is trying to get me into soccer post wc and he's pitching the Bundesliga hard not because he watches it but because he knows the power of the phrase 'itll help you practice your German '

im going to turn into someone with a hyper specific vocabulary like my friend in austria who spoke almost no german except every single word related to ordering ice cream (flavors, scoops, add ons etc) which was deeply inspiring at the time
