FINAL GRADES ARE OUT!!!!!
Fuck yeah. Cumulative GPA 3.94
Back into language learning this summer and it feels so good.
The devil works hard, but librarians work harder. I put in an ILL request and they sent me an email with the reading 20 minutes later.
Last undergraduate lecture π

I was torn between making an April to-do list or not. This is really the last month of the semester since finals are the week of May 4th. The last item on the list feels like a bit of a cop-out but a list doesn't feel complete without at least three things on it. [ ] fill out two scholarship applications
[ ] submit some sort of creative writing somewhere
[ ] be in good shape for finals-- ideally, a B or C on the final/final project should get me to an A in the class. I find it more stressful when I have to get an A on the final in order to get an A overall, even though I know I can probably do it.
(I initially felt like I should put more on it but I also know that conferences are going to take up quite a bit of time this month as well.)
Update on that to-do list:
[ ] fill out two scholarship applications- I did not do this. Got that research grant but I filled that out in February so it does not count for April even though I received the check just yesterday. I don't know how an entire month went by without filling out any new scholarship applications but I'll make up for it in the summer.
[X] submit some sort of creative writing somewhere- submitted one of my papers to an essay contest, we'll see in mid-June if that amounts to anything, I'm counting it

I think all As are in my future but I'll knock on wood now since I typed that.
I don't think the 7 pm double of espresso will save me the way 2 pm coffee sometimes does....
t minus one week until research presentations at my university

Currently have three pending requests.

The good luck post π
boss makes a dollar, i make a dime, start plotting your next fic on company time
Passed my undergrad clinical writing requirement
I was so close to getting into the 'skilled' category but since I finished it up and submitted it at night I accidentally left in some stupid typos that probably dragged me down those couple points. I'm happy I passed though :)

When you type 'prief' instead of 'brief' it is time to stop studying and go to bed.
sequel to the 'prief' incident: note taking while tired again. idk how autocorrect didn't get this one. went back through all the moving parts of one and two before i caught it at the very end ._.
