Saw someone get mad at Bloodymary for "erasing the aroace rep" and i was like. What. Guys. I need you to remember that no matter how aroace coded Grace is, IT IS NOT CANON. Andy Weir has not confirmed, nor stated in the books, be it explicitly or implicitly, that Grace is aroace. I need you to remember that a headcanon being widely accepted in the fandom does not make it canon. Look, I'm aroace myself, and I love the aroace Grace hc. But you cannot get mad at people for disagreeing with you over something that was never even confirmed.

Hi, yes, fellow AroAce here, and I would like to point out and remind people that, while this is an HC (and a great one), we cannot forget the fact that aroace is also a spectrum, and aroace people CAN be in relationships too! (I am aroace and engaged) ; for example, for me personally, I identify as demiromantic, specifically demibiromantic, which is on the aromantic spectrum, and I identify as grey-asexual, or greysexual, which is on the asexuel spectrum, both meaning "little to no" attraction being romantically and/or sexually; AroAce is a broad term to begin with.

Again, people shouldn't be upset with other people's hcs and/or ships, because it's supposed to be fun in the long run. I'm not even actively in the Iron Lung or PHM Fandoms, but they've grabbed my attention and so has the Bloody Mary ship, and I enjoy it as an aroace being myself.

being a teenager is basically just half a decade of "ugh I hate myself I hate my life I hate my parents nothing is fair everyone is mean the world is cruel I'm tired of it!! but idk i guess every teenager has this phase and I'll probably grow out of it and understand when I'm older" and getting older and realizing you should have been even angrier and more violent. Just watched Adam Conover (of Adam Ruins Everything) make such a solid point that I think we should spread far and wide. Yes, having AI write your emails is lazy, sure, but people love being lazy. We need to really emphasize that sending AI emails (or using AI responses on social media, or publishing AI flyers, or or or) is rude.

It's rude. You're making someone take their time to read something you couldn't bother to write. You're telling them they were so unimportant you couldn't be bothered to actually take the time to say something yourself. And frankly, you're lying about it while you're at it.
