Thanks! FYI I’m going to be writing after Nora’s death, with an AU where a different version of Nora, along with her twin brother, Joe, come back to the past to meet their father. Cause you know, the newspaper shifted at the end of the season to say Barry still disappears. Meanwhile, Joss became a smalltime hero when she got out of prison, and during a fight, had no idea what to think when she saw Nora.

Joss sighed as she walked into STAR Labs.

In the past few months, Team Flash had loosely recruited her as a member. ‘Loosely’ meaning that she worked mostly alone, but responded whenever they needed her help, and could always count on them whenever she couldn’t handle a threat.

But, since the Flash had first reached out, Joss had only been in contact with them twice. Once to deal with a ring of metahuman traffickers, and once because there was a meta that the team had thought Joss’s storms could be helpful against.

“Joss!”

Joss tried not to take it personally as the Flash and Elongated Man scrambled for their masks as Killer Frost’s hair turned white.

“Hi,” Joss said awkwardly, “Um... you gave me a key and told me to come any time I needed help. Well, I need help.”

“Of course,” Flash said, “What is it, Joss?”

Joss shrugged, “It’s not so much that I need help. It’s that... I found something out. Figured it would be better if I told you than if you found out over the news or... something.”

“What is it?” Elongated Man asked.

Joss took a deep breath, “Nora’s alive.”

The Flash looked completely shocked, “What?”

“I saw her,” Joss confirmed, “It was a different costume, but it was definitely her. And she had a guy with her. Matching outfit.”

“You’re sure?” Flash asked.

“I’m sure,” Joss insisted, “But... she didn’t recognize me. She acted like she’d never even met me.”

“Our Nora erased herself from the timeline,” Flash muttered, “This must be the one from the new timeline. The guy, though...”

“Can I talk to our little Weather Witch?” Killer Frost asked, “Alone?”

Joss had no idea what to expect as the cold heroine led her out into the hall.

“There was more to your relationship with XS than just you being friends, wasn’t there?”

Joss sighed, “How did you know?”

“Because I was the one who encouraged her to make a move with you in the first place.”

“Well, she didn’t,” Joss admitted, “Not until she was already dead. Sure, we flirted a bit, but... I don’t even know why I’m telling you this.”

“My alter ego is a bit more touchy-feely than me,” Killer Frost said, “But I get the feeling we’re both pretty easy to talk to.”

“Well, what would you suggest I do?” Joss asked with a chuckle, “I’m guessing your crush never came back from the dead with no memory of you.”

“No,” she admitted, “But my fiance came back from the dead, with metahuman powers he couldn’t control and basically schizophrenia.”

“Wow.”

“Yeah. The point is, if you love this girl, go get her. She fell for you before; she can do it again.”

Joss shrugged, “Last time, I saved her life. That seems a bit hard to top.”

“Okay, so that was weird, right?”

Nora shrugged as she looked at her twin, both of them pulling off their masks, “I don’t know, Joe. This is the first time we’ve ever gone back in time to try to save dad, and someone already recognized me—of course it’s weird! How the hell could it not be weird?!”

Joe put his hands up, “Whoa. Sorry, sis. I’ll find out what I can about her.”

“She said her name was Joss,” Nora offered, pacing around the motel room they were currently using as a base of operations.

“Otherwise known as Weather Witch,” Joe responded, “Found her. She served some time for attempted robbery, but got let off because someone vouched for her... wait, that can’t be right.”

“What?”

“It says XS vouched for her,” Joe muttered, “And was the one who arrested her. But this costume... it doesn’t look like yours.”

Nora moved to look at her brother’s guantlet screen. The image was definitely her, but with shorter hair and a different suit. This meant some version of Nora had travelled back in time before, only... the fact that she wasn’t here anymore could only mean one thing.

“Do you think we should go back?” Nora asked, “To the future, I mean. I mean, we always jump before we look; obviously this version of me did something stupid and got herself—“

“We don’t know that,” Joe protested, “Maybe she just went back to her future before the timeline changed. And by the way, we don’t jump before we look. You jump before you look and I clean up your mess.”

Nora punched her brother absentmindedly. If she thought hard, Joss did seem a little familiar. Like she’d seen her in a dream or heard her voice across a room. But she couldn’t shake the feeling that something more was going on here.

“You’re the one Uncle Cisco taught to hack,” Nora muttered, “Can you look through security footage and find anything out of the ordinary from Joss’s prison sentence?”

“Way ahead of you.”

After a few minutes, Joe shot Nora a look she couldn’t identify.

“I’m going to send you the footage. I only skimmed through it, but I think you may want to check it out on your own.”

Nora nodded, staying as her brother left the room to let her watch the holographic adaptations of the security footage.

Nora didn’t understand. Seeing herself playing cards, chatting, talking about missions with a convicted criminal didn’t make any sense.

And more than that... in the prison security footage... it looked like this other version of her was flirting.

Weather Witch was attractive, Nora would admit, but she didn’t get why any version of her would get a crush on a villain.

Then she watched Joss Jackam crying over the final message the other Nora had sent her, and Nora would be lying if she said she didn’t shed a few tears, herself.

“I lied,” Joe said, coming in to the room, “I watched it all.”

The twins sat in silence for a second, neither knowing what to say.

“I loved her,” Nora said numbly, “The other version of me. She loved Joss.”

“And you?”

Joe had always been somewhat overprotective whenever there was a girl Nora was crushing on. But now, he just seemed worried. And a little bit confused.

Nora shrugged, “I don’t know. I think maybe I could, considering she’s a bit of a hero now, but I don’t know her. The other me must have had a reason to like her, but...”

Nora had no idea what to think.

“Well, only one way to find out.”

Nora looked at her brother in surprise.

“I’ll be your wingman,” he offered, “And besides, if she’s a hero, there’s a decent chance she’s in touch with our dad. So let’s go find her. Let’s go get the girl. Okay?”

“This job the only reason you wanted me here?”

Raya raised an eyebrow and looked up from their blueprints, a bit distracted. “Hmm?”

Joss sighed and crossed her arms over her chest. She hated having to talk about this but… Well, no matter how much Raya insisted that this was to get back at XS, to prove to the world that she existed, Joss couldn’t stifle the sense that there was something more to this. After all, not everyone would steal cold and heat guns from S.T.A.R. Labs just to prove a point and get their old partner back.

She wasn’t sure if she was still angry or not about the latter, even if Raya promised a big payoff in the end.

“Taking down XS can’t be the only reason you wanted me here,” she said. Her voice wasn’t nearly as steady as she tried for. “Why go to all that trouble, huh?”

Raya’s lips curled into a sharp smirk. She considered Joss for a moment - long enough for the latter to start squirming in place - before standing, moving to stare her down from a couple inches away. Joss swallowed hard at the look in her eyes, dark and knowing.

“Why indeed.” Raya tilted her head. “Didn’t get much of a chance to make it up to you before.”

“Making up for the burns or for lost time?” Joss muttered.

Something, a hint of remorse perhaps, flickered behind her stare. That smirk softened, just a smidge. “Both.”

Joss laughed dryly. “Helluva a gift, then. Giving me a gun that could burn me just as bad as that house fire.”

“And a chance to burn this nosy little speedster in our city,” Raya purred.

Oh. Oh, Raya hadn’t…

Joss wet her lips and wanted to smile when the other watched the movement, expectant in a way she realized came from a faint sense of nerves and anticipation.

It’d been a long time since she’d gotten to burn something.

The deaths are officially at 79 by the most recent official announcement. Places like Mati, Kineta, Chania, Neos Boutsas and more are being burned to the core.

Minimum help is being given by neighboring countries. Officially 2 aircrafts from Italy and 2 from Cuprus whipe some are expected from Romania, Hungary, Spain.

There are abouy 31 people registred as missing in a web site while that doesnt mean those are all the people missing.

If you know people you know or suspect are missing call 199, the fire department.

If you are looking for someone missing don’t call hospitals, call 199, the fire department.

People got burned alive in their cars, in their homes.

Cars are literally melted by the fires.

The victims include children, thankfully the ones that survived are shocked, of course, but safe and in the hospital. The number of kids in the hospital ‘Παίδον’ (Pedon) in Athens is 11; 12 exited yesterday, and the kids left are expected to leave today.

The suspicion of the fires falls on arson. It something that Greece has suffered from a lot throughout the years. Yet we are never prepared for most of our problems whether it has to do with natural causes or not.

Some of you may have heard about the UK Cat Killer, some sick fuck who has killed and mutilated over 300 cats and other animals such as pet rabbits and wild foxes over the past 3-4 years.

Recently there have been an influx of more killings especially around the South Eastern area, including Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex, Berkshire, etc, where the animals have been mutilated and either returned to their owner or left on footpaths and sidewalks where kids regularly walk to school. School children have been finding theses horribly mutilated animals. Most recently, however, on Monday a lady’s cat was found beheaded and splayed out in a star shape beneath her bedroom window in the morning about 2 minutes away from where I live, my mum works at a vets and was visited by Scotland yard police who advised everyone who lives in the area to keep their pets in at all times if possible. Especially at night.

So, since Tumblr is so American-centric, I thought I’d write a little PSA telling people who live in the UK to please keep your pets in at night, and if possible, during the day.
