in season three Elias says that he doesn’t want Tim going to the unknowing MULTIPLE times. There is NO reason to do this. He doesn’t need to reverse psychology Tim into going, Tim would have gone no matter what he said. He couldn’t have been worried about Tim messing up their plan because he knew that the ritual would fail either way, and he wouldn’t have been worried about Tim hurting Jon in anyway because he was planning on Jon facing the end!! There was no reason for him to do that and he did. He, to some minuscule degree, cared about Tim, at the very least enough to not want him to die. Which is FASCINATING, because he didn’t even show that kindness to Barnabas Bennett!!

Tim is also literally nothing but a nuisance to Elias, going as far as to do anything he can to defy him (flying to Malaysia??) and Elias NEVER punishes him for it!! Sure he’s a dick, but he doesn’t actually do anything like he does to Martin and Melanie!!
