Now what should you write on each category?
What aliases did they use? What nicknames were they given?
You can choose to add their previous names (their kitten or apprentice name), or not, as that information can already be inferred.
What is their sexuality? If different from their sexuality, what is their romantic orientation?
Please list their family in the following order:
Littermates [sisters, brothers],
Niblings (nieces, nephews)
Grandkits [granddaughters, grandsons],
Grandparents (grandmother, grandfather)
Keep this list in a single paragraph. Ex: Name (mother), Name (father), Name (sister), Name (brother), Name (mate), Name (daughter), Name (son), Name (niece), Name (nephew), Name (aunt), Name (uncle), Name (granddaughter), Name (grandson), Name (grandmother), Name (grandfather), Name (mate, formerly)
--Not all relations have to be filled or known--only their parents, siblings, romantic/sexual relationships, and kits (if applicable) should be listed. Anything else, unless important, is optional.
--If they are not given names, just say ‘unnamed [relation] (ex. Unnamed mother).’
Unnamed does not mean a character is unnamed, simply that they are not given one by the author. This is typically done for background cats who don't provide anything to the story.
Unknown refers to anyone with a relationship to the Resident who the Resident does not know the name of. However, if the author knows the name and wants to include it regardless of this fact, they can.
Who is their mentor? Apprentice (if applicable)?
If they have multiple origins, list them in order of timeline. [Ex. None (formerly), ThunderClan (formerly), WindClan]
What rank did they die with?
For cats who have only ever lived in the Clan, you only need to show the one rank. However, cats who were kittypets/loners/rogues should have that information included, as it adds needed information about their origin.
This should also be listed in order of timeline [Ex. Loner (formerly), warrior)
Some facts and personality traits (some of which can also be included in Additional Information).
In addition to their personality, you can list physical characteristics, such as 'has a missing eye.'
Murder Motive (and/or) Motive to Harm:
What drives them to do what they did? (ex. vengeance, ambition, grief).
Number of anyone who were targeted / negatively affected by the main character, whether or not they were actually killed. Total number of victims.
How many did they kill / cause the death of?
Murder Method (and/or) Method of Harm:
How did they harm others? (ex. manipulation, abuse)
Who did they affect? If it is unnamed, you can say ‘several unnamed warriors/loners/rogues/kittypets' (or a number if that is known--five unnamed kittypets).
If there are both named and unnamed victims, place the unnamed victims at the end of the list.
What kind of victims did they target? Were specific types of cats affected by their actions?
What lessons can be taken from their stories?
This can be answered with ‘N/A’ which means no story or legend was made, or ‘??’ which means it is possible one was made, but it is unclear what exactly it is, if it was made.
A cautionary tale can either be a lesson that the Clan remembers, or something that is turned into a nursery tale that queens tell their kits. Often with the latter, the story becomes more fantastical, and may turn the resident into a monster (Ex. Don't be rude to your elders, or the Singing Queen will lure you into the woods and snatch you up).
