what if they get each other's initials tattooed? so even when they take the rings off when they suite up for a game or they can't keep them on their chains for some reason, the mark of their marriage is always there. and they'll be so enamoured with being Husbands and the merge of their names, so even if they kept them separate on their jerseys (and with mack as captain and will as his A), the refs might get to a point where they never refer to them with their last names when they call them to discuss (maybe not even last-name-derived-nicknames) cause of how often they're faced with "where's celebrini?" "which one?" or a "where's smith?" "Yeah?" "Not you, the other one/your husband." since they both would answer to either.
