Overlock Stitch by @clothes_reetzy
Damn, that's useful
Finally a hand sewing tutorial on a hemline that isn't just the ladder stitch! the ladder stitch disappears when you tighten it, but it's not meant for hemlines because it breaks really easily! The overlock stitch is more stable, so it holds much longer, and it won't pucker or warp the fabric!

Whats this weird and wholesome (? ship i see 👀👀
The band, the music, the dance.

Ok, I NEED you to understand just how insane even ATTEMPTING this was for them.
1. Playing an instrument is difficult. Doing so in sync with others even more so. Don’t think I’m stepping on any toes saying that.
2. Dancing is difficult. Doing so in sync with others even more so. Still not controversial.
3. YOU AVOID, AT ALL COSTS, MOVING YOUR BODY WHILE PLAYING A WIND INSTRUMENT. To make the correct, pleasant sounds, you need to be in the correct form. And that form involves your ENTIRE body, even your legs when sitting down.
4. “oh, but I’ve seen marching bands before and-” MARCHING BANDS HAVE ENTIRE SCIENTIFIC FIELDS DEDICATED TO FIGURING OUT HOW TO MARCH WITH MINIMUM BREAKING OF PROPER FORM. A marching band tries to be as smooth as possible while moving, so as not to jar their instrument, mouth, neck, arms, torso, or anything else. These ladies and gentlemen are BOUNCING and still playing properly, what the FU-!
5. AND ANOTHER THING! Wind instruments and dancing BOTH make demands on your breathing, so the fact that they are dancing (making you breath faster for extra oxygen) AND playing wind instruments (making you effectively hold your breath) AT THE SAME TIME is HUGE. Their lungs must be MASSIVE.
All of that also; the song is Sing, sing, sing (with a swing). If you wanna listen to some of THE SPICIEST big band ever recorded. Its a big hard song and this band does it expertly.

My main account got @-ed on this scam (no I won't say which one), and it occurred to me that some of the people here might not realize this is a scam.
It is. Do not click any mystery links. DO NOT give them any personal information. And DO NOT respond to messages like this.
thankfully most of us would rather see this place burn to the ground than hand over more information to staff so this kind of thing isn't going to do any good
I know, but considering the chaos the gaza bots caused (and are still causing) I figured it’d be best to say this out loud early on

Dead on Mayn Honorable mention prompt: Blob ghosts and Jason
Kinda inspired by the cute little blob ghost in this very cool art.
---
Jason worked hard to get the Pit Rage under control. He started being able to tell when he was getting close to an episode and account for it. Even when something triggered it he would at least be able to struggle to get it under control.
So he was thrown off guard when a strange sensation pierced through his chest and his vision was suddenly blinded with green.
Then as suddenly as the rage took over it ended. Jason gasped for air, clutching his chest and looked around his room. Thankfully, his furniture was intact and yet it confused him.
What the fuck was that?
He didn't seem to do anything other than collapse to his hands and knees. Jason looked around, there wasn't anything that would've triggered a Pit Rage in his apartment.
After a half an hour looking for anything suspicious, he sighed and grabbed his comfort book, Pride and Prejudice, and let himself relax before tonight's patrol.

Dead on Mayn 2025 prompt: Word Hoodwinked
They really are good detectives, Danny thought as he was running away rooftop to rooftop from Red Robin and Nightwing.
Currently he was using a new ghost power to shift into Red Hood's likeness.
…Which might look bad but he had a good reason for it!

Dead on mayn 2025 prompt: Word - Bones, Situation - Jason meets Danny as a ghost, Dialogue - "Wait you can see me?"
Danny sighed in relief as he walked into the graveyard. His parents dragged him to Gotham to join a Ghost Hunting symposium. Good thing they let him explore so he wouldn't have to listen to all that.
The graveyard was a peaceful quiet… or it should have been. He could see a young ghost being crowded by a bunch of angry shades.
That was strange, usually ghosts and shades hung around graveyards to rest or relax. Not cause any trouble.
Danny looked around, the graveyard was empty. The ghost was looking overwhelmed by the shade, he should help out.
As he got closer the ghost looked more and more familiar… Holy smokes, Batman! Was that Robin?! Robin died?! When did that happen? He didn't hear anything about that.
Danny walked faster to the group. They were in front of a fancy gravestone. …Jason Peter Todd, was that Robin? He forced himself to look away, even if Robin was a ghost now Danny knew how important it was to keep your secret identity safe.
He coughed to get their attention, "uh… need some help?"
Robin blinked owlishly at Danny, then suddenly pointed at him, "Wait, you can see me?!"
"Y-yeah. What's got them all upset?" Danny gestured to the crowd of shades.
Robin huffed, clearly upset on their behalf as well, "someone's been digging in old graves, stealing their bones to sell. Fucking horrible."
It really was, Danny agreed. Messing with graves was a fast way to make an enemy of a ghost. Even shades that were losing their sense of self could feel if their graves were tampered with.
Robin continued, "I've seen him but he covers himself up really well so I can't tell you who he is. I tried tackling him but I just go through him. I know I'm…d— a ghost but he doesn't even flinch or shiver, which rude.
You could… hmm." Robin stopped his train of thought, muttering about a civilian and too dangerous or something.
Robin must think that it'll dangerous for Danny. Well jokes on him he's already dead or more like half-dead.
"I can catch him for you." He's fought and caught ghosts, he could catch a human.
"A twig like you?" Even with the mask Danny could feel his doubtful stare.
"Hey!" Danny felt like the twig of a ghost Robin didn't have room to talk either.
They were interrupted when a small shade came bounding up to them making little urgent-sounding whispers.
Danny could feel warning and anger from the shade.
"The perp's coming back for another dig. Let's hide, I know a place with a good view that's out of the way."
Danny followed Robin, meanwhile the shades somewhat dispersed but they all still glared at the person as he set up his tools near a very old grave in a remote part of the graveyard.
The anger was palpable in the air nearly blanketing Danny's core. He barely registered getting up and quietly walking to the guy in his blind spot. He barely heard Robins hiss for him to come back.
Danny realized he was at the back of the guy but he was too busy digging to notice. Welp he was right here so he might as well…
Danny reared his arm back and swung his fist, trying not to punch as hard as he would for a ghost. The guy fell over like a bag of rocks. Thankfully still alive.
"Wha— who— How?" Robin stuttered as he flew up to Danny.
"There, I helped now who's this Gordon guy I need to tell?"
Robin puffed up, like a bird Danny thought amusedly, and huffily instructed Danny to alert the Gotham P.D.
They went back to Jason's grave after tipping the Gotham P.D. with Robin eyeing him critically all the while.
Danny rubbed the back of his neck bashfully. "I'm uh, stronger than I look?"
"That a question?"
"Maybe an explanation?"
Robin sighed. "Fine keep you're secrets, I get it. Still, thanks for helping catch the guy."
"No prob, happy to help."
"Hmm, you have experience working with ghosts? You didn't seem afraid of me or the shades."
"Uh, you could say that."
Robin's core radiated curiosity. There was also a mix of want, hesitant, threat? He seemed like he wanted to ask something but was afraid to?
Danny hummed. "I didn't help to, err, help you pass on or anything like that. I know ghosts that just want to exist, fulfilling their obsessions or checking out the living realm. So again if you want something I'll be happy to lend a hand."
Robin blinked at him, stunned. "R—really? Hmm… can you give me time to think about it?"
Danny nodded. "I'm visiting Gotham with my parents for the week so I got some time. I can come visit tomorrow if you want? No rush, we can just hang out." It'll be infinitely more interesting than listening to parents talk about new ways to hunt ghosts.
He smiled as he saw Robin relax with a small grin, "I'd like that."
