My Name is Daniel and I grew up in NYC, Mulberry Street in fact... So I am a native New Yorker. I also consider myself to be a Photographer. What kind is up for discussion, am I a hobbyist or a professional, or any variation in between? I do not know and more over, I don't think I care so much about that label. I enjoy my photography and others seem to enjoy it as well... I make some money every now and again, and that's fine. One day it would be nice to have Photography as a main source of income, but for now I am very content with the part it plays in my life. My inspiration comes from music, movies and of course: Food! Being a regular "Chef" in my kitchen has inspired me to take some of my favorite pictures. People fascinate me and I understand the need for preserving memories and capturing life's moments. We all experience a lot of emotion in life, myself included, and I find that I incorporate a lot of emotion in my photography both from the subject and my personal experiences. Some people say that I have an eye for photography, thank you for that, but what I most want to impart is my joy in finding those simple moments, to find the beauty in life through the overlooked and forgotten. And it's there, in those moments that I find myself awed and inspired. This blog will probably be little ramblings of my mind. Things that I think about or frustrate me, day to day happings... Who knows... AT the end it may just be something to entertain myself when I look back at it many years down the line....
