Geist: I'm emo about death in my community

Promethean: I'm emo about my personhood

Hunter: I'm emo about how fucked I am

Are they lying? Have they been lied to? How much does it matter?

I feel like sometimes people forget that we as the players have so much more (not necessarily objective) information than our characters do, and in general I feel like NPCs telling lies is viewed as bad through the lense of "ST is lying to the players".
