This is Crash Course. It's in the Sparkle stage, where the protomesh is still a bit transparent, soft, and pliable — like a little gel! The surface will start crusting in the next stage, slowly forming its armor, and it will start alt-mode tryouts until it settles with the one(s) it feels most comfortable with.
This little cranky cluster was first caught by Megatronus Prime and Prima Prime at the beginning of Mech Society's creation. When the Fall of the Primes happened, the NewSpark hopped onto Liege Maximo's Spark (common NewSpark survival mechanism). Max, injured and close to their end, dragged themself toward the Well of Sparks to return the NewSpark to safety, promising they would come back for it and return it to its creators, whatever form they might take.
