HALLOWEEN HEADCANONS FOR OCCULT PREMADES: this will largely be focused on the werewolves because they're who I invest most of my brain power into tbh.

Lou's favorite holiday is Halloween. He loves everything about fall time from the scary movies, haunted houses, hay rides, pumpkin spice drinks, the decorations, etc. He would say he's a proud "Basic bitch."

Lou can do the full dance from the "I Put a Spell on You" scene in Hocus Pocus and if you get him drunk enough, he will. Get Rory drunk enough and she'll join in (Their bestie-ism off the charts)

Ironically, Lou's costumes are also always shit. Just abysmal, no sense of originality in that guy, but he's so charming he still manages to be the life of the party anyway.

Jacob could care less about Halloween, but mostly because he hates the commercialism of it all. "It's just an excuse for people to get drunk in costume" kind of mentality. He's kind of cranky, but listening to True Crime and horror podcasts year-round will do that to you. He would say he doesn't need a single day of the year to be weird. 😂

Rory surprisingly hates horror movies and jump scares. She says it's because those kinds of movies have no plot, but really they just kinda spook her and she doesn't want to own up to it lol.

Celene cannot be taken into a haunted house because she will analyze the blood splatters, the gore, etc. for accuracy and it unsettles the workers.

The Wildfangs and The Collective have totally different outlooks on Halloween, a surprise to no one. The Collective is much more traditional whereas the Wildfangs are...not.

The Wildfangs are known for their raucous nature and partying spirit, but they are also responsible for organizing an event for the local kids, too (wolf and non-wolf). Think like a trunk-or-treat situation, but its like little booths and stuff set up at the library, and a bonfire. They hand out candy and such, it's sweet. The Collective in general doesn't really fraternize, in my mind, with the locals (not because of superiority or anything, they just believe being a wolf makes you inherently dangerous and you never know who might be a hunter, too, those sorts of things), but even they can't look down on a candy drive for kids (which is ofc Rory's doing, duh)
