1. origins of your blog's name

honestly, just a random word combined with my name. 'fae' is a pretty popular addition to tumblr usernames so I was just kinda cycling through all kinds of descriptors. i can be an idiot sometimes!

2. my "I'll always order this food"

if I could eat only chicken saag and 85C's mango creme brulee cake for the rest of my life, i would.

4. current comfort:

ASMR, caseoh streams, and documentaries with/about alex honnold (i don't even rock climb 😭 but I think he's fascinating idk)

5. song on repeat:

a year hasn't gone by since 2015 where I didn't have a spell of listening to PPP by Beach House on repeat. it's my favorite song ever. 🥹

6. my current hyperfixation:

minecraft!! hence my semi-hiatus. currently playing this modpack called 'linggango' which is essentially just terraria in minecraft. so lots of progression!

7. oddly specific things that brings me joy:

winter mornings that are clear/sunny skies but the temperature is freezing cold.

8. what smell makes me happy:

sandalwood and patchouli. i like to light incense pretty often and those smells juuuuust ✨ they're so comforting to me.

9. something I did as a kid and still do:

bite my nails when i'm stressed. i go through cycles where i take really good care of my nails but then eventually revert right back to chomping when things get too stressful.

my son 💖

11. are you an early bird or a night owl:

an early bird. i wake up naturally at like 4am. 😭 and then i go to bed at 9pm like a grandma.

12. if you work, what is your profession and do you like it:

i am a program manager for a tech company. i'm specialized in trust & safety operations. i started my career off as a content moderator which was legitimately traumatizing just based off of the things that we had to see; but i've climbed to a position where i don't have to look at abhorrent content and can just focus on safety by design for products and features. so i like it now.
