Supes random question here. I downloaded your recent build and the tattoo shop was my favorite part, it had a lot of personality. Did you make each station with a certain sim in mind? It feels like you had to of with how detailed it is

I absolutely 100% had original characters with defined personalities in mind as I was furnishing the stations in the tattoo shop!! I never got around to making those sims in CAS or anything, but I created little backstories and a rough mental image of each of the tattooers, so I'm super duper glad that reads in the build! I can't help but run with an excuse to come up with an excess of imaginary people lol.
Maybe I'll share them sometime down the line, but for now they'll just live in my brain <3

You are so sweet, thank you for saying that you love my makeovers ahhhh!!!! I have actually wanted to make the Strangetown townies from TS2 for TS4 for quite some time now! They've been on my ever-growing "To-Do" list as I wasn't sure if anyone would be interested, but knowing you (and perhaps others) are interested lights a fire under my ass haha. I will definitely move that up in my priorities and give it a go next time I have some time to tinker around in CAS!! When I finish them I'll put them up for download just like my Pleasantview sims!
As for the Dead Boy Detectives as sims, it is my current hyper-fixation after all! ๐๐ I would be very interested in making at least the core 4 (Charles, Edwin, Crystal, and Niko)... but shit, maybe I'll end up doing Jenny, Monty, The Cat King, Esther, and The Night Nurse as well! I may have already started Charles lol soooooo it's highly likely you'll see those sims on my page relatively soon. ๐

Visiting community lots on my computer is actually an absolute nightmare lmfao so at the moment I barely have my households visit them when I'm actually playing. ๐ญ
But I think I like visiting cafes or bars the most! I just like lots that can function in a multitude of ways and appeal to a large age-range.
I love building grimy/grungy lots or magical/whimsical lots best. I build more bars than anything, but I like to combine them with something like a bowling alley, movie theater, laundromat, etc. so there's more for my sim to do than just drink! If restaurants worked better I would build SO MANY!

With you being a self-proclaimed "Strangerville defender", I have some idea of your answer to this one, but I'm interested to your thoughts! Strangerville is actually a pack I've gotten a lot of use out of because there are so many ways to tell the story and I love the weirdness of the town.
Hahahaha yeahhhhh you know me so well. I love Strangerville and I will die on that sword.
To be fair I think it has some of the most unique build, buy, and CAS assets that pair with one of my other surprising favorite packs, Horse Ranch. Plus a lot of people complain about the gameplay, but it has never felt like a one-and-done thing to me: I've done the Strangerville mystery in multiple different saves with different kinds of sims and it's fun to me every time. I also love the weirdness of the town, locals included, and I love building there. Not to mention Erwin Pries is my favorite townie and he came with Strangerville, so I gotta give it up for that pack - they could never make me hate her!!!
