midnight sun: i'm proud that i've been able to stick w it for so long fr lmao

only in passing: i'm proud of being able to let the characters take more control than i do in midnight sun!

11. why have you decided to tell this story? are there any messages or meanings within it?

midnight sun: i'd always wanted to do this challenge, so i started it and fell in love w ophelia. it all morphed more into story after i got attached to her lmao

only in passing: i love coming of age stories! and after getting back into writing, i wanted to try my hand at focusing on multiple storylines!

Soooo I think I'm going to do a bachelorette series starring her for the holiday season! Just giving you all a heads up ❤.

I've wanted to do something like this for a while and it'll be nice for me as the holidays are always busy and I can build a queue up for you guys.

Plus... Quinta's a babe and I want her to find love 😍. More formal post to come later, but yeah I'll be looking for applicants and all that (somewhere between 7-12, depending on interest most likely).

I categorized him as "looks like a cinnamon roll but could actually kill you" because he is unhinged and filled with copious amounts of trauma, resentment, guilt, and rage (rage which is buried deeeep down). That is not to imply he is coordinated or tactful enough to effectively execute the "could actually kill you" part.

In all seriousness though she's one of the warmest people you'll ever meet; super chill, super open-minded, wants to help everyone, easy to talk to (so much so that all the locals pretty much confide in her/vent to her). Yeah she conducts seances and practices witchcraft, but she also feeds the locals and gets to know them personally and genuinely takes an interest in their (and their family's) wellbeing. She loves death, macabre stuff, could send ice through someone's veins with one scathing look if they dared get on her bad side... and she has a huuuuuuge heart. It's all about balance.
