Ok I had a thought, so Helen of Sparta, Clytemnestra, Castor and Pollux are quadruplets right? BUT Pollux and Hellen are the children of Zeus and Leda while Clytemnestra and castor are the children of tyndareus and Leda BUT all four came out of two eggs so the real question is did they have an egg tooth! Like did up until they started loosing baby teeth did all four of these adorable kids have an egg tooth?

I get why people are expecting Leda to be the most controversial of the lords in Fortune's Weave. She's a woman of color, she's motivated by revenge against a man, she uses some kind of demon magic. It follows.
However, I think we're overlooking that Leda is the most conventionally attractive of the lords, that she's in a traditionally feminine profession, and she seems to come across as emotionally open, even if several of those emotions are vengeance.
Meanwhile Theodora is cold, in a position of monarchal leadership that she owns, and is revolting against a political force that controls her people. Not to mention she's already controversial due to her design. I think, in terms of controversy, Theodora's going to beat out Leda easily.

It all started with a single joke. My boyfriend and I were discussing Eshmel and what their deal could be, and I asked out loud what the Pale Raven was even even supposed to be. Thatās when my boyfriend approximately joked āYouāve heard of the pale horse, now get ready for the Pale Raven.ā Thatās what sent me and him down the rabbit hole. Before getting started, I should note that this is merely one interpretation of the gameās possible themes and inspirations based on what Iāve observed so far.
My first thought was the first horsemen of the apocalypse, but I wasnāt putting too much stock into it right away. However, then I remembered that House of Lamine and Rose Tempestās faction colors are black and red respectively. The black rider carries a pair of scales and is often connected to famine, while the red rider is associated with peace being stripped from the earth and people killing each other, in addition to holding a large sword. I will note Leda does use a sword, and her primary motivation so far does seem to be revenge, albeit one taken on someone she thinks death isnāt enough for. The horse for the rider is sometimes described as a fiery red. Sirocco can use magic, but weāll have to see for now if his spell list includes any fire spells or if fire plays any thematic role for the Rose Tempest faction. Edit: While I was writing this, Buccaneerās reveal videos dropped and I saw what could potentially be a burn scar. As for House of Lamineās faction, the mention of famine did remind of one place in Fodlan that has explicit mention of famine: Faerghus. Iām not sure what it could all mean plotwise, but something definitely seemed up the more I dug down the rabbit hole. Famine is the scarcity of food, thus tied to hunger. Dietrich has been described as ever on the hunt for stronger foes, something heās metaphorically hungry for. I have a feeling thereās something thematically deeper than a simple quest for a fight, but weāll have to see.
I was a little less sure about Cai and Theodora and which one of them would be the white and pale riders, but then I looked at the faction colors. Essentially, the white rider represents conquest, as he bears a crown and a bow. Cai doesnāt use a bow, but his friend Peter does. Additionally, Caiās faction, Wind of Ribeira, is thematically blue with white accents. Cai isnāt royalty from what we know, but succeeding in the Heroic Games is a conquest of sorts, with Cai going against his kindhearted nature, fighting only because he wants to save his father. Edit: a tiara is literally a type of crown, how could I have forgotten about Tiara? Lastly, thereās Theodoraās faction, Megaeraās Torch. At first, the crown aspect made me wonder if Theodoraās faction could represent the white rider since sheās literally a queen, but then I looked at her faction color and thatās where my bf and I started screaming. Megaeraās Torch as a factionās banner seems to be yellowish-green in color, with pale accents. The pale horse is sometimes interpreted to be pale green, a mix of green and yellow, or some other color meant to draw connections to the dead. As such, Megaeraās Torch seems to be the faction that most closely aligns with themes of the pale rider, whose companion is said to Hades or the grave. It is mentioned Theodoraās father was assassinated, which may play into the motif. Additionally, Bonaparteās armor is mainly green with yellow accents. There is also the question of the bandage on one of Theodoraās arms, but I donāt have enough context to explicitly draw a connection. The only other bandages weāve seen so far that are similar is the bandages on Eshmelās lance, and since they are the Herald of the Pale Raven, that raises a whole bunch of questions.
Thatās all I have for now, but the dive down the rabbit hole was a fun one.
I was scrolling through this collection and didnāt read the name, just the scene and thought Playmobil was being REAL bold with a Leda figure set. (They didnāt, itās Aphrodite)
