I have this great idea for a new family sitcom. There's a fat and incompetent father with an absolute bombshell daddy wife whom he hates for no reason whatsoever and there's an anorexic daughter who he ALSO hates and son. Just son. If you really wanna be spicey, you can have a genius baby who also hates the mom. I expect to be greenlighted in the next week, I'll keep you updated.

being disabled is so hard and disabled people are so oppressed which is why all babies need to be born with my life long horrifically painful condition that prevents me from doing most things ever. I'm normal and not a predator.

also, one of the exhausting things about discussing domestic violence is that of course so many people can concede lip service that it's "bad" etc. but what's revealing about how little they care, or that they don't prioritize it, or that they really do hold beliefs that women are meant to be abused is that they often are not ready to discuss what is the most common pattern of abuse, and that is escalation. the end point of that escalation is murder. it's like...I'm not going to be cowed into thinking this is an intellectual question, or that I'm just interested in some sort of ideological project. I can look people in the eye and ask them "do you care when women are murdered?" and I don't feel conflicted about it. women are murdered. Women are murdered! when men get away with one punch, they start getting away with two. on and on. I think it's an emergency when women are punched. I don't care what anyone's beliefs are at that point. men are allowed to be our judge, jury, and executioner? at their own whims? why am I supposed to sit comfortably with that.

you can't criticize anything here without some dumbass saying "look it might be weird but its not wrong. gay people are weird, do you hate them too?" and its like, their default argument.

Isn't it interesting how every single one of my friends' boyfriends/husbands has a rare untreatable combination of ADHD, anxiety, autism, and trauma which completely excuse and explain all of his shitty abusive behaviors while simultaneously justifying his refusal to do his own chores?? And isn't it fascinating that this pernicious epidemic of severe learning disabilities has completely escaped the purview of the medical profession, leaving speculative diagnosis entirely up to the careful conscientious examination of Dr. Girlfriend?
