Sonar Headcanon time, I need to blurb while I'm on the train

Sonar is cuddly. As my headcanon of him being a spectral bat goes, they're huge cuddlers and are very social bats. I do headcanon him to have some fruit bat (his mother is a fruit bat, more on her later) so overall his love language is Spending time and Physical touch
that doesn't mean he isn't big on acts of service, he loves doing stuff for his partner. is it some weird primal instinct from his half-Bat? yeah 100%. but would you really complain when he carries you to the couch after a long day to rub the knots out of your back?
Malevola did a lot for him when they met. If he hadn't met her I could've 100% have seen him falling down the Incel Pipeline during his drug use Era. She taught him a lot more than how to cut back. (and that he's not owed the company of a woman either)
she also helped him come out. He unfortunately developed a bit of internalized homophobia; it happens with the Cryptobro Mansphere, so when she finally got it through to him it was okay he fully embraced his Pansexuality
that doesn't mean he hasn't abandoned all of the lingo yet. he still can't come to terms that Pepe the Frog and Filthy Frank were Alt-Right Pipleline figureheads.
Why is that? Sonar is very much autistic and this is at least hinted at being Canon in game. (the constant delay on understanding social settings and his hyoerfixations, that's for another blurb)
Before he got caught he lived a super cushy life. what else would he do with all the money he stole? He has champagne taste and knows how to flaunt it.
he does have some hidden money that wasn't seized. Initially it was a big old pool of cash for drugs (or if need be to flee the United States so he can start his rug-pull career elsewhere) but now he's using it for less nefarious purposes.

part of his parole required some community service outside of Hero work; so he chose to work at the LA Bat Rescue. it's implied he can communicate with bats so he's their top volunteer.

I sadly won't go to much into the dynamic of his Chinese family members because I'm not educated enough (yet) to make it accurate. there's no specific reason I chose Chinese either (maybe it's influenced Cuz I watched Nezha and I love learning about the Chinese new year, but feel free to lmk if this doesn't make sense)
in order of age with his siblings it's Vance, Vincent, Violet, Him, Valeria and Vesper.
he looks like his dad the most but personality wise he's all Mama. he's the biggest damn mama's boy too
so when he got caught with his scams and his mother disowned him, he was devestated

which breaks his heart cuz he has three nieces from Vance and he adored them and his dad is the reason he pursued music AND finances.

he mainly gunned for it so he could please Vance; since he went to Harvard as well
thankfully he has the Z-team; wo are like his second family. they'll eventually reassure him that his goals don't need to matter to anyone but himself. (it got way to quiet without his holier than thou college rants)
He's happy to see that Violet had a baby during his Absence. he's making it his life goal to spoil her

I made another post on this but he's gotta be way taller than JUST 6'0 or 5'9. my personal headcanon he's 6'5 excluding his ears. he was a preemie as a baby so his height was shocking to his mom AND Dad.
he's lean, mostly trains his arms and chest to help him fly and climb better- but his legs aren't neglected. He's like Charlie- if he flexes his muscle is visible but otherwise he seems lean (sleeper build)
he suffers from Arthritis due to his joints undergoing massive strain when he transforms. I also see him having a Bougie ass cane he pretends is for show but is realistically a Mobility aid.
he has bat feet- Aka they're prehensile and he not only loves to freak people out with them but also hang off a bar he drilled into his bedroom. it alleviates the pressure in his legs and spine.
on bad days (like rainy cold) he's bundled up under a nest of blankets trying to not grouch and moan in pain from his aching joints. (Malevola and the reader if you will will be there to soothe him)
he has little membranes attached to his underarms as well.
his diet is skewed. he does enjoy raw meat, blood and small prey animals but he's a total slut for sweets and fruits. Feed him one of those raw fed dog meals and his fur will shine like river water.
this being said he's super vain and well groomed. constantly washing his fur with the premium shampoo and brushing his teeth thrice a day- carrying a tin of altoids in his breast pocket. he smells fucking phenomenal.
he can purr and make all the noises a bat can, but he has this specific roar in his beast form that's unique to him.
has a rut cycle during the Late Summer/Early fall. he gets a week off cuz otherwise he's impossible to control and just genuinely insufferable. he's not just horny he's aggressive to any guy that interacts with his partner. there's been many a time he's nearly blew out Robert's ears for trying to talk to his partner. (for either dispatching or general conversation)
hed follow said partner around the house headbutting their back ever so gently and making little chirps. followed by constant begging.
he does know no means no and will back off. he's spent many seasons alone so it wouldn't be new.
