I know this is going to make me sound pretensions but I have to get it off my chest. I feel an unimaginable rage when someone posts a photo and is like "this picture looks like a renaissance painting lol" when the photo clearly has the lighting, colors and composition of a baroque or romantic painting. There are differences in these styles and those differences are important and labeling every "classical" looking painting as renaissance is annoying and upsetting to me. And anytime I come across one of those posts I have to put down my phone and go take a walk because they make me so mad

this post has re-wired my brain in the best way

Partner and I had a long and philosophical discussion over whether the role of Pontius Pilate in the Muppet Passion of the Christ should be played by Sam the Eagle (his idea) or jointly by Statler and Waldorf (my idea). We were, however, in agreement that Jesus should be the only human and he should be played by Robert Pattinson

Why Robert Pattinson, you ask? Well, the sole human actor in a Muppet thing should a) be the character with the most central pathos, b) be an actor who is credible and well-respected, and c) be an actor who is Down for Anything and Good at Keeping a Straight Face, so they can act alongside the muppets like they're going for a tasteful oscar. Also, imagine Robert Pattinson nailed to a cross alongside the muppet good and bad thieves. And imagine the sheer profit margin from the now-grown Twilight teens lining up to see Robert Pattinson nailed to a cross.
