I thought you have been told to rest your leg,” Maul asked and crossed his arms in front of his chest while leaning with his hip against the crate next to Icarus, who huffed. “Scorn’s refusing to play another game of dice with me and Kast and I have been looking through the data to figure out which smuggling routes Niko Deemis uses, but Spybot shooed us away. He says our people brains are too slow.” “They probably are,” Maul agreed. I’m rather trying to be helpful,” Icarus said and reached behind himself for a water bottle, which he unscrewed and gave to Maul. “Good boy,” Maul said, raising the water bottle to his lips to drink. Icarus made a little sound somewhere between choking and coughing. And if Maul was honest, he had counted on that. Icarus had made quiet a few comments about finding him attractive and at least the verbal part of flirting wasn’t entirely unknown to Maul.
