rich girl sweep: a specific pose used for a lot of sweeps that just happens to often be given to ojousamas or “rich girl” characters. usually consists of propping themselves up with one arm and sticking both their legs out at a diagonal angle but they can also be at 90 degree angle to the ground.

the bison slide: named after m. bison’s iconic sweep, the bison slide is a traveling low normal where the character stays standing upright and using their feet to slide across the floor a long way in front of them. noob killer.

the grappler sweep: not exclusive to grapplers, this sweep has the character jump into the air horizontally where they then fall to the ground. usually low crushes.

the vega slide: a type of sweep named after claw/vega from the street fighters series. oppose to other types of sliding sweeps like the bison slide or the gordeau slide this type of slide requires the character to be low to the ground with one leg out and the other one bent beneath them resembling someone riding a surfboard. also a noob killer.

the gordeau slide also known as the 3h/3c: gordeau from under night in birth was not the first one to have a button like this but i associate it so much with him that i call it that. very similar to the vega slide but instead of tucking a leg under them they slide on their asses with one leg outward and the other bent.

the low profile: not defined by the animation, the low profile is simply a sweep that low profiles. if you play a character with one of these you're based.

the ol' one two: another not defined by the animation even if a lot of them do tend to use a similar animation. the ol' one two simply means the sweep hits twice.

the break dance: a sweep where the character props themselves up on their hand and spins around their legs in the air resembling a break dancer. like the ol' one two these can hit twice.
