Perfect for a flavorful meal, this grilled pizza is topped with crispy bacon and marinated artichoke hearts.
Ingredients: 1 pizza dough. 1/2 cup pizza sauce. 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/2 cup marinated grilled artichoke hearts, drained and sliced. 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled. 1/4 cup sliced black olives. 1/4 cup sliced red onion. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 teaspoon dried oregano. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh basil leaves for garnish.
Instructions: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Roll out the pizza dough into your desired shape on a lightly floured surface. Brush one side of the pizza dough with olive oil and place it on the grill, oiled side down. Grill for 2-3 minutes or until the crust has grill marks and is slightly crispy. Brush the top of the pizza dough with more olive oil, then flip it over on the grill. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the grilled side of the dough. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Add the sliced grilled artichoke hearts, crumbled bacon, black olives, and red onion on top of the cheese. Sprinkle with dried oregano, salt, and pepper to taste. Close the grill lid and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted, and the crust is golden brown. Remove the pizza from the grill and let it cool slightly before slicing. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve hot.
