THIS SHIT WORKS OKAY, I AM DEAD SERIOUS.

The last time I saw this on my dash, I didn’t think it would happen, so jokingly I wished I could go to a fun. concert.

AND GUESS WHAT, I WENT TO A FUCKING FUN. CONCERT.

ii. Forgive yourself for not knowing who you wanted to be today because five years ago, all you wanted was to live until today.

iii. Forgive yourself for simply wanting to be alive until tomorrow because each day felt like a battle to get up and live despite the urge to just curl up and die.

iv. Forgive yourself for not forgiving yourself a long time ago because forgiveness takes time and it hurt to breathe; how much more to understand that you were hurting?

v. Forgive yourself for hurting. What you felt and what you feel is valid. Your hurt is valid. Your pain is valid.

vi. Forgive yourself for not being good enough because you always were; you just forgot. And forgive yourself for believing the lies people told you to make you like you were worthless.

vii. Forgive yourself for hurting others, for shutting them out, for making them feel like they weren’t enough. Learn from your mistakes because who you are isn’t who you were. You are not your mistakes, be better - ask for forgiveness from those you hurt.

viii. Forgive yourself for still not knowing who you want to be a year from now. Despite what you think, no one’s chasing after you. There isn’t a competition to win on who’s the most successful person among your peers.

ix. Forgive yourself for thinking success was measured by the number of your following, or the number of notes you get on your poetry. Success is what you deem it to be. Five year ago, success was getting up each morning. Today, success can simply be being happy with all the progress you’ve made and all the progress you’re making.

x. Forgive yourself for forgetting to forgive yourself for all the mistakes you’ll make because you will fall again, and you will fail, and you will make mistakes, but in each tumble and break, don’t forget to forgive yourself for each stumble along the way.

I hope you’ll never forget that

You’ve loved me once

I trust a lot and I trust very easily. I don’t see a reason not to, not when I first meet a person at least.

Yes, there have been a painfully large number of times where I have stared myself right in the mirror with red, crazy eyes swearing to myself that I will never be naive enough to trust anyone ever again.

But I did. Again and again. And then again. Because I can’t live life always fearing to be hurt and cheated upon. I can’t live life fearing that people always lie and that they always leave.

And maybe it will hurt me more times than I deserve and maybe it will dull the sparkle in my eyes a little everytime someone doesn’t keep their promise.

But at least, at least I won’t always be so guarded, with the intention of blocking out all the bad things and in the process never let the good things enter either. Because the good and bad? They come together. Always.

yeah don’t think that this can’t happen to you or someone you know if they’re young. my cousin’s wife is 33 and she had a stroke last year

F- Face: is their face fallen on one side?

A- Arms: can they raise both their arms up and hold them there?

S- Speech: is their speech slurred? Can they speak a full sentence?

T- Time: if all the signs show a stroke, call 999.
