My extremely subjective take on every Pokémon and if it's cute or not. (While I do have a bachelor's degree in design, like all matters of taste, in the end "cuteness is in the eye of the beholder.") I will try to justify my decision based on design elements.

#143. Snorlax

Verdict: Cute

Snorlax has a fan base as massive as it is. I would be Body Slammed into oblivion if I didn't give Snorlax a cute verdict. I find it amusing how popular Snorlax is for being based off a real dude. I would put Snorlax in the same group as Slowpoke and Psyduck as the quirky, simple-creature cuties.

A student I had once showed me a photo of their collection of Snorlax goods. This was an elementary school kid, and they've already amassed far more goods than I of my favorite Pokémon! (I'll show my collection once we get to my all time favorite) It helps that they do make goods that feature Snorlax quite frequently, but I've been collecting for 20 plus years and am an adult with my own income. I sincerely hope that as the kid gets older they'll hold onto their collection.

Design-wise, Snorlax is definitely round. It has a simple design that would be easy to draw from memory. It has stubby arms and legs in comparison to its body. Snorlax also just looks very comfy and cozy. Like its fur would be soft like one's favorite blanket or pillow. Other Pokémon are often depicted sleeping on Snorlax, so Snorlax probably has the firmness of a sofa or mattress.

We are doing something. We’re rejecting allonormative ideals and that’s a massive thing to do. We’re actively fighting not just to help other aspecs, but to help everyone, because amatonormativity (and allonormativity as a whole) hurt everyone. Single people who want to find a partner but can’t also deserve to be able to exist.

There are so many issues with the expectation of marriage, including:

A single income isn't enough to get by anymore

Having a spouse is almost necessary under the current medical system

Society shames and pressures people who are single to get into relationships constantly

Rejecting allonormativity means fighting against these things that hurt everyone.

I was heartbroken and felt tossed aside. I didn't understand why our friendship wasn't worth anything to him if he couldn't have me romantically or sexually. I felt betrayed and dehumanised, like I didn't matter to him as a person but only as a romantic prospect.

When I told other friends about it, to my surprise they all sided with him. "He is heartbroken, it's hard to get rejected" even my THERAPIST said this. It's not like I didn't empathize with him, but wasn't I rejected too? No one else could see that but me, they placed me as some sort of villain that had power over him in that situation, when all I did was set a boundary between friendship and romance. All I did was not consent to the terms he wanted for our relationship, I rejected them, my terms were different and he rejected those.

I've had my heart broken by friends over and over and it hurt the same, if not more, than any romantic heartbreak. Why is friendship undervalued next to romantic feelings?

i desperately need people to stop avoiding what this post is actually about. stop derailing and trying to make it be about something else instead.

even if the person in question didn't want to fuck them, even if he just wanted a wholesome, purely romantic, nothing sexual at all relationship, it would STILL be fucked up to BLAME someone for rejecting that.

similarly, if someone really wanted to just fuck, but they were honest and clear about that, and handled rejection gracefully, there would be literally no issue with that.
