anon, you have sent this confession to the right person, because oh my god. i know that they’re awful people, i know this. they are the absolute worst & i am well aware of that fact, but god help me, i love the bro house. i do, a friend of mine got to hear my detailed essay on the bro house & why i actually felt bad for these men at certain points (whilst also enjoying seeing them get what was coming to them) after this episode aired. i love these characters, zinn, wyatt, barry & james? adored them, thought they were incredibly well written & i hated them, i loved to hate them. the naughty list is one of my favourite things about the american horror story universe. the story was so clever & did a fantastic job of exploring the awful side of these influencers as they touched on some very real things that happen with these kinds of people & i thought it was brilliant how they did it. the actors who played the guys were incredible & i hope that they’re all in the main show in the future. i was so pleased to see that they had brought nico greetham to the main show after this episode & gave him a role in another stories episode because he absolutely nailed the character of zinn. genuinely i love this episode, it’s well written, it’s actually quite funny. the opening will never not have me near dying with laughter.

HAHAHA ANON, I THOUGHT THE EXACT SAME THING! the SECOND i saw this dude i turned to my mother & was like im sensing the ben harmon, the ahs special: the typical ‘whiny man who's about to do something awful to his wife who is too good for him’ vibes but aura was fantastic, I thought it was really good & it is the first time that american horror story has managed to jump scare me since my beloved roanoke. i am literally begging at this point to have gabourey sidibe play more major characters in this show. i love her so much.

AHH ANON I KNOW :( i loved coby so much, she’s so beautiful & i adored the twist. she'll go down as one of my favourite characters of the universe despite her only being in one episodes of stories & not the main show. i really hope that they'll bring kristine froseth into the main show to play a major character in one of the later seasons at some point like they did with nico greetham.

anon, death valley was probably one of my least favourite seasons. it just didn’t feel like american horror story to me, but i absolutely agree because if i was to pick out the parts of death valley i liked it would be the modern part. my roommate at university came downstairs to see me watching troy & cal's birth scene & i was laughing so hard at the dramatics & surrealism of it all & it absolutely scarred my roommate for life. so i do like the strange attempt at m-preg because it was funny & hey, i liked the modern characters a lot.

do not blame you at all anon, doris gardner is a beautiful woman, she is gorgeous & i say this as a lesbian, harry gardner is one handsome man. i can understand why people would see the appeal.

LOOK, i can handle gore, i can, asylum? feral? gory medical dramas? extreme horror films? i won't bat an eyelid & i am a lesbian so at this point, i am going to take ANY representation i can get from these shows, but dear GOD milkmaids was the only episode of american horror story that i nearly couldn’t get through myself. it was not bad but my brother in christ do they need a content warning for the gore in this episode. this is probably the only episode of ahs that i won't rewatch again.

coven was one of the better seasons for sure.

honestly, anon. death valley made me laugh so hard & i’m pretty sure it wasn’t intended as a comedy. i wasn’t really a fan. i mean, wow, they really did something to the back half of the season didn’t they? i liked that it made me laugh & kudos to the actors that played cal & troy for that hilarious picture of them with the baby. i kept waiting to see if this was going to be one of red tide’s harry gardner’s scripts at the end of it all, but it was just that. i don’t know how they got it so wrong seeing as manny coto wrote feral, drive in & the naughty list in ahs stories which i think were good.

anon, as someone who’s loved this show since 2013, i agree. i love the show, there are some good stories in this show, i love different pieces of every season, but it’s rare that i have ever enjoyed the ending. whilst i am a fan of ahs stories, one of my main concerns was the fact that i never normally like the main shows season endings so i spent a lot of time wondering how they were going to pull off a whole story in one episode if they struggle to end a whole season story & whilst i loved all the episodes, i think feral was the only ending i did enjoy out of stories & out of the main show, the only endings i have really liked are the roanoke, hotel & coven endings, all the rest frustrate me.

i agree. i’m sorry to death valley fans, but i agree. i’m vibeing with death valley sure, but feral was so good, it is legitimately one of the only ahs episodes that has ever actually scared me. it was so good. i like that new two actors i liked were the new season of the main show, but i wish it had been aaron. if feral told me anything, it’s that i definitely want to see aaron tveit in a season of this show as a main. also stan vogel - instant favourite, i love that guy. he was so funny, he was so done half the time & genuinely was an interesting character. yeah, this episode should’ve been a season arc, i love it.

anon, i’m guessing you did what i did after finishing this episode & looked up the conspiracy posts. honestly i did wonder if somehow he’d made it out alive, his death was kinda ambiguous seeing as he did put the fire out & just body slammed the pool. i mean, i like the idea that all of them ‘got what they deserved’ (thank you santa) even if in some parts i had headcanons for the boys that if they had made it explicitly canon might have made me feel a shed of sympathy for them, but i have read about people talking about barry’s potential survival & if they ever did revisit the idea in another ahs stories episode (i hope not because i liked this singular contained story) barry could be ‘santa’s little helper’ or something equally as disturbing.

anon, honestly, i agree 100%. to add to this, in my opinion, the difference between asylum & death valley is that whilst odd, i still understood what was going on in that season whilst in this one i just... honestly my brain stopped functioning after last episode.

her characters are always treated awfully. i think misty is the only one that’s somewhat alright now. i’m still sad about doris 😭

i agree, honestly i never liked the aliens in asylum & i’m not a huge fan now. it is making me laugh though so i am enjoying that. those teens are so dumb.
