I think it's the first time M has ever even acknowledged the fact that they are thinking about how someone else could view them and it certainly makes them wonder about themselves! :D

M is going through a lot of emotions, most of which they've never bothered to even take notice of before, and it's complicated!

But they have...doubts at times. Not because of who they are but because of what could happen.

M would have totally realised that what they are feeling too is also love. And M would have accepted it and kinda been relieved they no longer have to be confused by whatever the hell is happening to them, hehe!

Which is also exactly why I had to interrupt that scene, as I really wanted M's realisation to come at a very particular moment throughout the story! :D Not that the MC has to realise or confess in that moment too, but for M, it's always been planned to be in a certain scene.
