That’s awesome! I will download it, I want to improve my accent for when I sing Τ’ Αη Γιωρκού (the version by Alkinoos Ioannidis is probably in my top 3 all time favourite songs)

I hope something is also done for the fading dialects of Greek that the state has completely forgotten about. Grecanico, Romeyka, Tsakonian, Cappadocian, Mariupolitan… all are dying.

(Btw sorry for diverging from the main topic but I heard somewhere that the ministry office responsible for ALL the Greek diaspora communities globally is comprised by four - 4 - individuals. Which kinda explains why everyone and everything is abandoned to their fate. I don’t know if this is accurate but judging from the sociopolitical situation in Greece, I don’t find it hard to believe this…)

Don't want to rain on your parade, but Alkinoos Ioannides' version is overrated imo. This version is much better:

Seeing that the app was made by an Australian-born and her husband (without further credentials) I am pretty hesitant of how accurate it is. It's a good start though for people who want to learn Cypriot Greek, though non-native Greek speakers would need some basic knowledge of standard modern or ancient Greek to help them.
