david chase is such an evil genius. a twisted, cruel mastermind!! it’s crazy how the tragic deaths on the sopranos are both logical, inevitable conclusions of story moments set up all throughout the show (and that im sure become tragically obvious on rewatch ; like (redacted) getting that nightclub), so you expect them ; but they still happen in ways that catch you off-guard. i knew (redacted) would die, but this manner? at this moment? i wasn’t prepared. i didn’t have time to harden my heart… david chase is the storyteller of all times
