I had a dream last night about an Ace Attorney musical.
I dreamt of one scene, where Milee Edgeworth and Mia performed together on the stage, both standing on some sort of trapeze, talking about their respective parents. Which turned out an interesting way, because Mia talked about Morgan, and Miles about Manfred, so they were both not even talking about their real parents but more so the people who had raised them instead or had taken that role. It's also funny that I make such observations while I am asleep, but there turned out to be a lot of parallels between Morgan and Manfred - they were both not exactly great parents, they both had children of their own they'd rather see rising to the top, and they both will eventually turn out to be massive backstabbers.
At which point Miles starts to perform a song, swaying back and forth on his trapeze. He's wearing the suit he wore in Turnabout Beginnings, but longer at the back, more like a tailcoat (because naturally, you need to have that so you can dramatically whirl around and all that and it looks damn hot). The song he performs is a solo, so Mia just sits down on her trapeze and listens while he sings about his difficult relationship with Manfred. The song is called "Yes, Sir" and thats all I remember.
I think I need to quit my job and make this musical real. Perhaps I'll dream more of it tonight.
