It would be so fun to see them trying to deliver the same point in adult!character. It would work perfectly as a introduction to their grown up version and how they relate to eachother. Just imagine Aang going like "yeah Zuko said that? well i'm sure one of his adviser is at fault for that... anyways".

Now with the limited time frame there is def a danger of flanderizing said characters, I would medigate that issue by having no more than 4 characters involved, all of them being already known by the watchers. (maybe some side characters can be refernced)

In this round, the survivors will meet past versions of themselves before a significant change in their lives( elliot pre-pizzeria fire, 007 pre-c00lkidd, guest 1337 pre-entering the war, etc.). Some of their past selves will obviously be given the role of survivor. The unlucky ones get to deal with a younger version of themselves on the killer side.
