I lost a grandfather suddenly last year and my health got worse. So any projects or anything that I wanted to do had to be suddenly put on hold because my life just plummeted.
I'm very sorry that asks are off. I am disabled. I can not work. I do not have very much money to donate. I also have under 30 followers, so I don't know if it will help, but I will still try to share your vetted donation link if you tag me or reply to this post!
artblog is @ps-aeiou-vowels
More Info & other Blogs:
Sorry for the length. I don't want to make a carrd lol
disability/chronically ill stuff at @nark-my-words. the short version is that i'm always tired
i like comics, video games, Pokémon, green aliens, dogs, snails, internet deep dives, butch yuri, vocasynths, villainness manga, occupation sim games, etc.
I don't usually trigger tag political posts or posts about real world events that I reblog onto this blog. If it's here, it's because I want it shared, like information about the genocide in Palestine.
If I follow you and this blog seems really out of place, it's because it's just my main and where I reblog really stupid misc shit. I follow and keep up with many things and people. I like certain fandoms or keeping certain disability topics separate and care strongly about issues that I can share both on this blog and other blogs.
Here's some of them:
bugsnax blog: @addlefooted
pokémon blog: @poke-this-mon (I still mostly reblog Pokémon on main tho so maybe ill just delete lol)
futurama (sorry) blog: @futureogle
psychonauts blog: @somnonaut
in stars and time blog: @starsfullfate
saved stuff/writing learning blog: @reviewable-renew
I have a mutuals-only SJ/"political" sideblog and an 18+ sideblog for reblogging posts I think are funny but inappropriate for minors.
This is not an 18+ blog, but I used to reblog posts with NSFT jokes. I don't do that here anymore and I've hopefully deleted all of those posts. Anyone can follow, just be aware that there will be serious discussions sometimes that aren't catered towards children, like about asexuality.
Since it matters to some people to know: I've read the main Homestuck comic and used to be a fan when I was a kid, but I don't keep up w/ it or the fandom anymore.
I try my best to tag things for mutuals. I don't tag anything else unless asked because my memory issues are so bad.
I block liberally. Feel free to block me as well if you want. DNIs are useless, but I want to establish:
I block radfems, radqueers, zionists, "All Lives Matter" types, Harry Potter fans, Hazbin Hotel fans, anyone who lets their cat outside, people who use gendered pronouns for genderless robots or aliens, and particularly annoying men. I was going to add more funny things to the list but ran out of steam lol
I especially block people who identify themselves as "proshippers"/"profic"/"comshippers"/"anti-antis"/(you know who I mean) and pro-incest when I find them. If you happen to see this and you are or agree with that, I would appreciate it if you respect my boundaries and blocked me yourself, and block me if I interact first unknowingly. I am not going to debate you.

I'm just going to say it - body hair (and beauty standards in general) is truly one of the final frontiers of women's issues in the West. Too many women just love their gilded cage too much. It shocks me how virulently women will defend it. I barely open my mouth and the "well I like how it feels. it just makes me feel cleaner. sensory issues. I do it for me. feminism is about choosing (to conform)." brigade come rushing in by the dozens.
Well I don't like how it feels. I don't feel cleaner without body hair. I don't prefer not having body hair. But who will advocate for women like me, but me? For women who do like hair removal, they are advocated for every time they step out of the house and see 99% of the female population also conforming to that standard, or when they watch a movie and see all the shaved actresses, or view an advertisment, or open a magazine, or watch a music video, or scroll through social media, or walk down the streets without receiving insults and glares for having a completely normal bodily feature.
You genuinely can't even point out that hairlessness is a man-made standard without women losing their shit and acting like they are totally immune to propaganda they've been exposed to from birth. I'm so tired.
For anyone unfamiliar with Paulo Freire's Pedagogy of the Oppressed, the entire thesis is that traditional educational models promote oppression by removing students' agency in their own learning. Freire argues that currently education functions as a "banking model" - teachers are the holders of knowledge, and students are empty vessels, waiting to have that knowledge put into their heads like a piggy bank. This reinforces a passive attitude towards information, not seeking and understanding it on your own terms, but waiting for a "banker" to deposit it into your head.
Instead, Freire proposes that teachers and students act as co-creators of knowledge, where students become active participants in their own learning through questions and dialogue. Teachers are also open to changing their understanding of topics in the process of critical dialogue - the goal is not "student learns Fact A and memorizes it as presented," but instead the goal is the knowledge itself, discovered collaboratively by teacher and student, who are acting with empathy and respect towards each other. This also starts the process of the oppressed being able and empowered to question structures of power, take agency, and actively participate in the transformation of society.
So, the irony of writing an AI essay on critical pedagogy is actually insane; because it's essentially the extrapolated endpoint of Freire's arguments that our current educational system creates passive receptacles who not only can't think critically in an educational context, but also become the perfect citizens for a world that doesn't want us questioning structures of power, to view those in power as we viewed our teachers - deliverers of indisputable facts that must be memorized and regurgitated because they command it, and not co-creators of true understanding.
Was driving with my grandmother and in broken English she says “no eyes… no nose… no face. Don’t trust.” To which I looked around wildly in search of this omen of ill portend.

I was feeling agitated and artblocked yesterday so I decided to give my brain a rest by watching TV and then the next thing I knew these were in front of me
I honestly think that nonbinary people should be allowed to be mean* about our genders without getting shit for it more often.
*(Read: Assertive of our boundaries and stood firm on the fact that our identities are deserving of respect)
We should be allowed to make a sour face or take a cold tone with someone when they carelessly misgender us for the fifth time in a row despite multiple corrections. We should be allowed to complain about erasure and ask where our needs and experiences come into play when we hear people reinforcing binary normativity in their discussions of gender related issues. We should be allowed to be visibly/audibly angry with other trans people when they try to forcibly categorize us as fem or masc, or imply that our enbyness is a mere phase that will eventually lead to "real/full" (binary to binary) transition.
Nonbinary people should be allowed to take our identities seriously and expect others to do the same for us, regardless of whether or not we will come off as mean for doing so. Because quite frankly, upon seeing how exorsexist the world has become recently, I think we haven't been mean enough.
Not even at stoplights!!! I know it’s so so tempting to just glance at your phone when you’re stopped, but there’s actually something called “distraction hangover” where even once you put your phone down, your brain is still processing the interaction and isn’t fully paying attention to the road for up to 30 seconds afterwards. So it’s still really dangerous even if you’re stopped when you look at your phone. If you need to check something on your phone, pull over.
this especially applies to people with adhd. you know that symptom you may have heard of called “difficulty transitioning between tasks”? you don’t want piloting a ton or two of potential death to be the task you can’t mentally switch back to.
