In a lot of ways this is WHY the south is disenfranchised

and thats not to mention the massive latine and indigenous populations, which only get larger to the west of that red region. the south is the most racially diverse area of the country but ppl still act like its just 100% white racists (who do u think suffers from their racism????)

i do actually think it's crazy that employers get a say over shit like tattoos and piercings and we just let that happen

besides the obvious that people should have the right to do what they want with their bodies as a form of self expression, the stigma against face tattoos specifically has a long, violent, racist, imperialist history that stretches across the globe

As a child, he survived one of the several Bengal famines that were organised by the British colonisers in India. He developed his theory on famines, which is that they were more about distribution of food rather than production or availability of it

It's really funny and jarring when you encounter a profanity filter in a single-player m-rated grown-up game for adults, but I don't think they even make sense in kid's games. If anything I think "If you tell the computer to call you FuckNugget it will do that" is exactly the sort of obvious, low-stakes 'actions have consequences' lesson that's perfect for kids.
