Acespec Education

Here we go.

1. This blog is currently inactive and my ask box is closed- but here’s where I had my guidelines. There’s a chance I’ll return some day. But as for now, I’m quietly stepping down from this blog. No dramatic reason or anything. I just feel like this blog’s purpose in my life has been fulfilled. I’m glad to have been a help to those who needed it. If you currently need that help, start with the ask guidelines I linked above. Maybe you’ll find answers there. 💜

2. I made a glossary of just about every ace-related term and label ever. You can view it here: https://aceglossary.carrd.co/ It is laid out neatly so if you have any questions about the existence of any specific acespec identity, you can poke that. (I use it all the time as a cheat sheet it’s my secret to knowing all this.)

4. I tend to go by heteroromantic gray asexual because it requires very little explanation in ace spaces. But dipping into microlabels, I’m an aplatonic, orchidromantic acespike. Also sequencesexual, which means the rare time I do experience sexual attraction, I need to feel romantic attraction first.

5. Minors should be aware I’m an adult. Interact accordingly.

6. I’m inclusive of just about everything. As long as the identity isn’t harming anyone. (And by "harm” I mean shit like MAPs. Not exclusionist rhetoric.)

Koinikosexual

Koinikosexual is someone who can only experience sexual attraction to people they frequently interact with. For example, they may become sexually attracted towards someone they see every day, but once they stop seeing each other, the attraction goes away. However, there’s a chance of that attraction returning if they see each other again.
