So can we talk about the fact that in 6Teen’s episode “Lights out” Jude proves he’s the best boyfriend. Instead of judging Nebula (Previously Starr) for going goth, he attempts to go goth himself so that he can relate to her. He wants to be in her life. He doesn’t just shrug it off, he literally puts on makeup and dyes his hair just so he can try to feel how she feels. And yeah sure in the end they break up because he realizes he can’t relate to her but at least he puts in the effort. That’s what relationships need more of nowadays. Effort.
