No actually I AM mad about this. Do not EVER fucking say that Magneto is a Nazi. Magneto is a SURVIVOR OF THE HOLOCAUST. That's his entire fucking character. He was taken prisoner during the holocaust, his mother was tortured and killed in front of him, and his powers were abused BY NAZIS, for the benefit OF NAZIS. He then, upon the end of World War 2, hunted down and murdered former Nazi soldiers and eventually led a group of mutants fighting back against oppression in the only way he knew how - fighting fire with fire.
Mutants are a symbol for every single oppressed people ever. Some can hide, others can't, ALL are despised and seen as vermin, and ALL are sought out and exterminated, which Magneto has seen and gone through before. In his mind, the only way to stop it is to fight back equally as hard and then some. Humans are violent and want them dead, he sees no reason to try and reason with them like the X-Men do, which is why he's a villain. But I swear to fucking god, do not EVER call Magneto a Nazi again.
