As the daughter of a diplomat, Archana had the fortune of being educated in many countries and travelling to many destinations as well as performing in many events and invitations at some of those destinations. Archana started learning dance at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in New Delhi at the age of 5. She later joined Nrityalaya, Singapore, under the tutelage of her guru and became an ardent student of Natyakala Nidhi Srimati Santha Bhaskar. Archana has performed in many shows and dance productions choreographed by Srimati Santha in Bharatanatyam in Singapore, As President of Indian Dance Group at the National University of Singapore and she led the group to many performances local and overseas, which included, an 11-day trip to Shizuoka, Japan, for the Japan Youth International Musicale. Archana also learnt Kathak under Pandit Charan Girdhar Chand in Singapore and Kuchipudi from renowned Padmabhushan Raja and Radha Reddy. She started her journey as a solo artist in Durban and gave performances to the South African audience at number of Diwali celebrations in 2008, Tyagaraja Festival and Indian Republic Day celebrations at the City Hall amongst others. In Colombia, while pursuing her MBA from Florida, Archana worked closely with the Indian Embassy in representing India in universities such as Los Andes,and also with organizations such as ProAsia, Amigos de India and American Womens’ Association. An interested group of students approached her for learning and after training them for over a year, she presented the Colombian audience with 3 grand shows including Gita Govindam, an hour long dance drama in Spanish, at the ISCKON temple. In UK, Archana had the opportunity to perform at the ISCKON temple at Coventry and at the Dussehra celebrations at Balaji temple.
