An incredible question! Following up on this.

I think it would depend on how early this is in the relationship. Assume Caitlyn barely knows them and is still actively trying to be on her best (read: most normal) behavior, so she's told herself she will not get uptight about this fun family game night.

Then she walks into a war zone.

If it's Mylo that's out, Powder is really torn. She could say it's a relief to finally have someone competent, but that would sound like she's complimenting the Piltie Princess. So no way, obviously. She'd be tense and biting Caitlyn's head off over minor things all night, but mostly holding it in.

But my god, if it was Claggor who wasn't there?? Mylo and Powder get into a fight over who was supposed to be on tomato duty on that last stage. Caitlyn's stuck between them looking petrified in a way Vi has literally never seen before. What's she supposed to do here? Raise her voice to match? Insert herself in gently?

Caitlyn might even try a, "Well, why don't we just—" And Powder's head snaps her way. Are her eyes actually glowing?

An actual nightmare.

Then Vi cuts in with something like, "now that it's out of your systems, you want to try not sucking this time?" She goes over everyone's roles again, drill sergeant style, and takes off the kid gloves while they're playing. She's calling out the orders, reminding people of timing, keeping her sentences short and simple.

Near the end of the stage, Caitlyn chimes in exactly one time with something Vi missed. Powder almost blows up again just at that, but then they get three stars and the mood shifts—kind of.

Mylo is immediately cocky, saying maybe Caitlyn should do the shot calling from now on. "You gotta admit, Vi. She's got a real authoritative style."

For some reason, Vi starts coughing at that, and Caitlyn looks frozen with fear again. At her elbow, Powder whispers something about how that'll happen "over her dead body." It definitely was "her" and not "my." Followed by what sounds like a few more comments about a bomb in her trunk?

When Mylo suggests that Caitlyn take over, she can tell there's some kind of family dynamic going on so she doesn't want to butt in directly herself, but she would really prefer if Vi kept being extremely competent where Caitlyn can pretend to watch her subtly. (She's literally staring so much and so often that it's another reason Powder's definitely going to put a bomb in her car the next time.)
