they either block your view with a bigass "sign up to see the post! :)" pop-up, or just send you straight to the app store. twitter/x, facebook, insta, pinterest, tiktok, old.reddit, NONE of these sites are accessible without an account. so unless it's literally just a screenshot, i can't see your shared post at all, even if it's properly embedded.

it's not just social media either. spotify links are useless because they genuinely won't let you hear the damn song. same problem with pixiv, you can't even see image previews without signing up. i'm sure there's plenty of other examples i'm forgetting, but these are the obvious ones.

This is what damage control looks like. The three ghosts that visited her would be her agents that got her that HBO deal because it looks bad to have multiple directors and actors refuse to work with you for your open political radicalism. Contrary to social media echo chambers beliefs, not everyone knew about JKR being a transphobic person let alone that she actively funds genocidal legislature and systems. So people taking a stand and saying "No, I won't work with her, because of this." is making people who never knew about her views examine her views. That's why there's a move to obfuscate this as just having a problem with what she says on twitter. Then she can just post the right things for a while and they hope the media pressure will die off and they can continue as normal with their show.
